Prize Giving.

On  Thursday night Point England had Prize Giving. The Junior  Prize Giving  was at 2.00 o'clock and the seniors were at 7.00PM. When it was time for the senior Prize Giving  I  had to sit in my  place which was  in front of the stage .


I was   so shocked that it was nearly the year 5 item. But I looked up on the stage and I saw Toko and the rest of the pounamu group on stage I was so glad that It wasn't  me on stage.

Dancing on the stage I kept on looking at my sister and my parents. As I was dancing I felt famous  shining in the light on the stage. Pretending  being famous after all I was not so shocked at all.


When it was the year 5 awards  Mr Burt called frank , Sela , Jordenne , Jordan ,  Iisa , and even Asena they all went on the stage and got their awards then it moved on to sports but I was so sad I did not have an award.

I was so shocked that  my  brother Max had a prize and a  certificate he walked on stage and my dad came with a lolly necklace and my two cousins  went up to.

Thank you Watersafe Auckland for giving us an opportunity to learn how to  Float , And by treading water , and to have fun by using  life jackets to keep us safe in all kind of seas or pools.


Our School has enjoyed Swimming POOLS IN SCHOOLS and wish you to come back any time at Point England.


The person that brought the pool to our school was Chris and I would also  like to give a big Thank you to him.

MarshMallow Monster

Splashing water  in the darkness and out of  the lake came a  green creature. It had yellow eyes and big sharp white teeth. There was a little boy who was sitting on a giant rock and holding a stick with a Marshmallow stuck on it.


The green creature , crept up behind the little person, who heard a  rustling sound  right behind him. Turning around holding the stick,  “AAAAAAA”.  The little person screamed. He was so scared that the green creature might eat him.

Trick Or Treat.

On Halloween day there were two brothers dressed in costumes for halloween. The two brothers were   fighting over a bucket full of lollies.The older brother said to his little brother “Let go you stupid little egg’’ “No you let go you selfish ugly clown” replied the little brother while snatching the bucket full of lollies. The big brother said to the little brother "let go of the bucket man" and the little brother replied "nah you bulgy clown make me

The Tsunami.

Ben is 8 years old he is a kind and lovely boy. He lives with his nana and her name is Granny Jojo, she is a grumpy mean old bully bag woman.

“Tsunami’’ “Tsunami”, “Tsunami”!!!!! Yelled  Ben the one morning while listening to the radio. “it's heading right for New York” “Ahhh” screamed his grumpy nana. People could hear them on the other side of the road.

Granny Jojo said “stop scaring people with this nonsense of yours” “But Granny Jojo” said Ben with puppy eyes  “NO not another word” replied Granny Jojo. The next thing they both heard were people on the streets below shouting “Here it comes. The tsunami”.

Looking at the drive way there was a flood caused by the tsunami.As Ben walked past to see what happened from the tsunami he was surpised to see all the other neighbours having fun.Joining in with the fun Ben diceded to stand on some bricks ready to jump off.
He jumped in the air with his arms up and his legs holding tight together.SPLASHH!!!!!   His arm had broken.


When Granny  pulled up Ben she quickly check and see If he was ok Granny  said “wake up Ben don’t you make me panic like that again.” When Ben woke up he found out he was in the hospital. “Mmmm Granny is that you?” said Ben “yes it is my sweet little angel” replied Granny. So Granny and BEN went home

Farewell Mrs Verry.!

On Friday we had an assembly for Mrs Verry.We saw a chair just like the one when Miss Tito went to another school.Mr Burt said all junior ponamu group were up on stage with Whaia Raewyn. They did a Maori haka.That meant someone in our school was leaving.

I knew that Mrs Verry was going because I heard everyone saying Mrs Verry was leaving.

To you Mrs Verry. You were one of the best teachers,and child supporters. Mrs Verry was my only favourite teacher because she looks out for us. Mrs Verry worked really hard at our school for nearly 20 years.


Mrs Verry was kind and caring for Point england school .We called Mrs Verry supergran and she was an amazing friend to us.Mr Burt said Mrs Verry was the queen of bling.

FAREWELL MISS VERRY

Paralympics.!!!

Did you know Richard Whitehead competes for Great Britain and he ran 100m without stopping. What a fantastic finish on the running track. He was so excited and he had pride in himself Jumping up in the air waving the Great Britain flag, Richard was so happy that he won.

Tommy kapai Wilson!

Did you Know War and violence are Dumb?Tommy Kapai Wilson came to our school hall to tell us  special thing’s  about his life journey.Tommy is a real funny famous cool guy to me.


Tommy Kapai wilson teached us Five lesson’s
1.Make 10 people smile everyday
2.War and  violence are dumb
3.Learn how to forgive
4.everybody is born with a gift
5.SMILE.!




Have you knottiest that Tommy Kapai Wilson meet rich and famous people.Tommy Kapai Wilson is really funny that I could fall off  my chair.Tommy taught us a world BOO HOO JUICE that means your tears are coming down.My favourite part listineing to Tommy was when he said he was in a flash boat and he said yes your hines in two weeks time he came back in two weeks time and he called him sup Bro.In another two weeks time and do you know what he called him Bro caw I called him mate.

Cross - Country Re-Craft.

Today we practiced  re-crafting a piece of  writing.The first paragraph  is Aldora's and the second is mine!!!!!

Aldora's Paragraph

“Oh my god” I said, I never knew cross country was going to be so hard and long. When I got half way I started to sprint so I could catch up to some girls but sadly I didn’t. I was getting closer to the finish line and I was so proud of myself.

Re crafting:
Have you ever ran  through a muddy cross-country before?
Running along,I never Imagined the cross - country would  be so challenging.It felt like it would take the rest of my life to get to the finish line.Powerfully,I tried to catch up to the other girls,but was so exhausted that I could`nt.

Olympic Torch.

The Olympic flame started at the ancient Olympic at olympia in Greece.The flame is Ignited by the sun.The Olympic flame stops burning when the Olympics is all finished.


Nowadays women wearing white robes lighting up the flame using a curved mirror.The flame is passed runner to runner as it travels from Olympia to the host city.


The most Important event at the opening ceremony is the lighting of the flame.It burns for two weeks until the games has concludded.

Muamua Graffiti Movie.

Snow Day Today.

Light snowflakes drifting downwards blanking the city.Magical winter wonderland turns up winter and sprinkling over the ground.

Skidding and sliding roads are slippery  and the snow  is becoming deep and Impassable .Broken trees, power cut  and school is over for the day people freezing and making themselves  comfortable.

My Pigasso and Mootisse.

Once their was two little animals that were named Mootice and Pigasso they were very good artes and can draw animal bodies.Mootisse can even draw  some art and then started to show all students.When the students were looking at the artwork  they were rushing  to  line up.They were very excited  about his art work.

When mootisse moved he was facing west and his front neighbour was facing east.He went to  introduced himself  to his neighbour and his neighbour came outside and introduce himself.

They wanted to get to know each other so they ended up to be really good neighbours so they were deciding to make some really interesting artwork.

Netball.

Hi my name is Muamua and i love to play netball and kind of   basketball  and plus rugby i have got  one brother one sister and my mum and dad my brother's name is Max and my sister's name is Mary-Jane  and i go to Pt England  school and i am in room 13 i have got a lot of friends kind of like  puawai.

My Flower Tissue Art.

Strewn tissue were scattered all over the classroom floor.Some of the paint brushes had glue on them and were all over the tissue making them all sticky and I  wonder why there was hardly NO tissues for us to use .

Carefully I painted my background and waited patiently for it to dry.Making the shape of the petal was really hard to do but the center was easy.

Some of my class room mates had really colorful ones and their petals had the same colour like my friend hannah!!!.She had 5 different colorful  petals and another 5 that made the same colour.

Melting crayons.

Gluing the crayon  to the cardboard and paint the stencil was really hard to do.Melting the crayons was really easy but we had to melt the rainbow colors with the hairdryer.BUT FIRST WE HAD TO STACK THEM ON  THE WALLS ONE BY ONE!
