Paddock	A Paddock is when it is kind of like a farm but it has fences so the cows can stay inside the space of the fences so the cows will not run away.	*
milking hoses	A Milking hoses is where you grab the milk when to have finished getting the milk.	*

Pirate Story.

Ahoy ‘me mateys! My name is Alex and I am 35 years old. I have always wanted to be a pirate and even wanted to steal gold and complete a robbery. I am in a big giant boat sailing in the blue sea. As I was sailing I saw a giant boat and it was getting closer and closer. Suddenly I realised that it was covered in a bright shining glow. What could it be I asked myself? It must be GOLD!!

When I saw the shining gold I was just about to faint. The boat went past and he said, “Hello, my name is ?”  “Oh, hi my name is Steve,” he replied. Searching for gold I saw the man and jumped in his ship and took all his gold and quickly threw them over my big giant ship and tied him to the pole on the edge of the flag and off I went driving my ship far far away.

I was so relieved that I finally have gold and felt so reach and so proud of myself I am hoping I will come again and probably steal forever in my life.

Starting School.

Starting school Is going to be “AWESOME” because I get to go on my netbook, play some games, and do some work. On the first day of school it was really of FUN.

I felt so nervous coming into my new classroom with Ms Garden in room seventeen. In room seventeen there was nearly all  of the same people that were in room thirteen last year. But I really miss my old teacher Miss Helen King because she was the best teacher I have ever met.

Prize Giving.

On  Thursday night Point England had Prize Giving. The Junior  Prize Giving  was at 2.00 o'clock and the seniors were at 7.00PM. When it was time for the senior Prize Giving  I  had to sit in my  place which was  in front of the stage .


I was   so shocked that it was nearly the year 5 item. But I looked up on the stage and I saw Toko and the rest of the pounamu group on stage I was so glad that It wasn't  me on stage.

Dancing on the stage I kept on looking at my sister and my parents. As I was dancing I felt famous  shining in the light on the stage. Pretending  being famous after all I was not so shocked at all.


When it was the year 5 awards  Mr Burt called frank , Sela , Jordenne , Jordan ,  Iisa , and even Asena they all went on the stage and got their awards then it moved on to sports but I was so sad I did not have an award.

I was so shocked that  my  brother Max had a prize and a  certificate he walked on stage and my dad came with a lolly necklace and my two cousins  went up to.

What I do  differently now is that last year we had to write with a book and a pencil.
What I think about my learning is that I learn , Create , and even Share.  

Learning is the right thing for brain to learn really hard for my report.  The thing that has surprised me was having a Netbook and the first time touching it this year 2012.



What I really have enjoyed doing more this year is reading and writing because that is my favorite subject. 

My goals for 2013 is to be a better writer and a netball player next year . 

Outline helps me by telling me what to do and it helps me learn at school.

Our School has enjoyed Swimming POOLS IN SCHOOLS and wish you to come back any time at Point England.


The person that brought the pool to our school was Chris and I would also  like to give a big Thank you to him.

MarshMallow Monster

Splashing water  in the darkness and out of  the lake came a  green creature. It had yellow eyes and big sharp white teeth. There was a little boy who was sitting on a giant rock and holding a stick with a Marshmallow stuck on it.


The green creature , crept up behind the little person, who heard a  rustling sound  right behind him. Turning around holding the stick,  “AAAAAAA”.  The little person screamed. He was so scared that the green creature might eat him.

I really think you should watch be Happy by Saint Pius X  because the  children that are singing have really good voices. They are able to act normal like there is no camera filming them. I think that film is really amazing and it suits them by singing and I give them a 10 / 10.

Manaiakalani Film Festival.

On Wednesday Our whole school got to go to the Movies to watch the Manaiakalani Film Festival. Watching the movies, my favourite one was Usher More. What I liked about their movie was that they were dancing, singing , acting and even lip syncing. They had the best movie of all.

The Scary Story About Alma.

Walking through a lot of snow, down a narrow alleyway surrounded by big buildings, a little girl named Alma, who was five years old, saw a big chalkboard filled with names. Seeing so many names, she decided to add her name too. Picking up the chalk she wrote her name on the board. She spelled it out loud A.L.M.A.

While writing down her name, she heard a weird noise. Alma looked around, no one was there so she carried on. Moments later she heard the weird sound again. She turned around and Alma saw a doll that looked the same as her.

Running towards the window, Alma looked closely and it did look just like her. She wiped off the frost from the window,  she saw other dolls. As Alma tried to open the door it didn't open for her, she picked up a snowball and threw it.   

Suddenly the door opened and Alma walked inside. Looking all over the place, she saw a lot of dolls. Alma felt so scared. She thought in her head that she was only here for the doll.  Going towards the doll, Alma hit another doll on the ground. She picked it up.  It pedalled around in circles and then went straight for the door.

The door  slammed in its face and Alma thought it looked like it was trying to escape. She turned back, but saw nothing, her doll  was no longer there. Alma looked up on the shelves  and there it was.

Alma walked up to the shelves, she climbed on a couch. Looking at the doll, Alma carefully touched it. As she touched it’s face she heard a loud noise ZAP!!!! Alma looked around. She was so scared, she didn't know where she was. Alma was Feeling so scared  and all Alma could move was her eyes. Alma looked around and all other dolls w
ere moving their eyes and looking at her.


 

Going To The Beach.

Going for a swim at the beach, my family and I were hoping for a fun day.

Me and my brother Max begged my parents to be allowed to go and play in the sand. My mum replied “No you can not play in the sand just go for a swim” she said.

So then my brother Max and I went to my dad and asked him if we could go to the park and he said “What are you talking about? It’s your day, so yes you may”  ”Thank you dad” My brother and me said Excitedly to my dad.


As my brother raced me there to the park he quickly  went to the monkey  bars but he didn't  know that it was wet so he went on climbing and then he fell of and fell on the ground. I ran as fast as I could  and I yelled at  my brother “Max are you ok stay here I will run and get mum to help”.  “Hurry my back is hurting” Max replied.


So then I ran to my mum and I told her that Max was hurt at the park she got really angry and said “Why is he hurt? See I told you guys not to go to the park. That’s what you get” “Ok mum I’m sorry look at Max he’s in pain right now” I replied. When my mum got there to Max  my mum she was  shocked and she had to take him to the hospital. Then I had to go back home with my dad. I said “ Bye Max I will come and visit you sometime tomorrow”.  

Trick Or Treat.

On Halloween day there were two brothers dressed in costumes for halloween. The two brothers were   fighting over a bucket full of lollies.The older brother said to his little brother “Let go you stupid little egg’’ “No you let go you selfish ugly clown” replied the little brother while snatching the bucket full of lollies. The big brother said to the little brother "let go of the bucket man" and the little brother replied "nah you bulgy clown make me

The Tsunami.

Ben is 8 years old he is a kind and lovely boy. He lives with his nana and her name is Granny Jojo, she is a grumpy mean old bully bag woman.

“Tsunami’’ “Tsunami”, “Tsunami”!!!!! Yelled  Ben the one morning while listening to the radio. “it's heading right for New York” “Ahhh” screamed his grumpy nana. People could hear them on the other side of the road.

Granny Jojo said “stop scaring people with this nonsense of yours” “But Granny Jojo” said Ben with puppy eyes  “NO not another word” replied Granny Jojo. The next thing they both heard were people on the streets below shouting “Here it comes. The tsunami”.

Looking at the drive way there was a flood caused by the tsunami.As Ben walked past to see what happened from the tsunami he was surpised to see all the other neighbours having fun.Joining in with the fun Ben diceded to stand on some bricks ready to jump off.
He jumped in the air with his arms up and his legs holding tight together.SPLASHH!!!!!   His arm had broken.


When Granny  pulled up Ben she quickly check and see If he was ok Granny  said “wake up Ben don’t you make me panic like that again.” When Ben woke up he found out he was in the hospital. “Mmmm Granny is that you?” said Ben “yes it is my sweet little angel” replied Granny. So Granny and BEN went home

Farewell Mrs Verry.!

On Friday we had an assembly for Mrs Verry.We saw a chair just like the one when Miss Tito went to another school.Mr Burt said all junior ponamu group were up on stage with Whaia Raewyn. They did a Maori haka.That meant someone in our school was leaving.

I knew that Mrs Verry was going because I heard everyone saying Mrs Verry was leaving.

To you Mrs Verry. You were one of the best teachers,and child supporters. Mrs Verry was my only favourite teacher because she looks out for us. Mrs Verry worked really hard at our school for nearly 20 years.


Mrs Verry was kind and caring for Point england school .We called Mrs Verry supergran and she was an amazing friend to us.Mr Burt said Mrs Verry was the queen of bling.

FAREWELL MISS VERRY

Paralympics.!!!

Did you know Richard Whitehead competes for Great Britain and he ran 100m without stopping. What a fantastic finish on the running track. He was so excited and he had pride in himself Jumping up in the air waving the Great Britain flag, Richard was so happy that he won.

Did you Know War and violence are Dumb?Tommy Kapai Wilson came to our school hall to tell us  special thing’s  about his life journey.Tommy is a real funny famous cool guy to me.

Have you knottiest that Tommy Kapai Wilson meet rich and famous people.Tommy Kapai Wilson is really funny that I could fall off  my chair.Tommy taught us a world BOO HOO JUICE that means your tears are coming down.My favourite part listineing to Tommy was when he said he was in a flash boat and he said yes your hines in two weeks time he came back in two weeks time and he called him sup Bro.In another two weeks time and do you know what he called him Bro caw I called him mate.
