Open Expo.

Image result for open expoMy favorite creativity for me had to be the INSTRUMENTOS group. The reason why they were the best group was because they thought that they would paint the netball/basketball courts, for the reason that said that it did not look too perfect because when the visitors walk past there will be no colour the court would be plain grey.

Greetings to you all and welcome to my blog. On Friday the 3rd of July there was an open Expo day in the team 5 building inside the street. Other classes from our school came to visit us and check out what we have been up too.  The younger students around our area really enjoyed our work and also enjoyed what we have created for Tinkering Tools & Toys. While students were visiting they really enjoyed themselves and that was what pleased me, by the looks on their faces they really enjoyed our creations of our creativity. On the Expo day there were many many things you could possible think of when creating something.

Historic Mansion

mansion
Historic Mansion!

In the 1860’s, Samuel Ouerbacker built this Historic Mansion in Kentucky,But there’s more things you may need to find out. For a $1 historic mansion may sound unbelievable but there is a chance that it may be haunted, It’s a catch.

The mansion isn’t really in the greatest condition. As the mansion stands, some parts fall apart. The background of the histrionic is that it stands across from a cemetery. The hope is that it would be bought by someone that is willing to put the time and also the money into restoring the mansion.

Nearby Residents dare to say the the mansion is haunted, it does look creepy!. The mansion was used by a tax company but later on it went up for auction. Despite his plan to restore the mansion to it’s former glory, but he left the mansion in ruins.

Future Aspirations

On the 20th of May Pt England School Team 5 got to see important and also famous visitors, And those visitors are Marcus Winter (AKA) The Sandman, Louis Gordon Latty (AKA) Basketball player & also the introducer Andrew Patterson. Marcus Winter works his Magic, using sand, light and also sound to produce a live performing in huge crew ship and to also preform in our town city Queens ST.

Louis Gorden Latty is a famous internet man which entertains others online. Louis has a great imagination, for the reason that he wants to be a famous basketball player just like Micheal Jordan. Louis Gorden Latty gave out a lot off quotes which was Aim high, People will never forget how you made them feel, and also how you made them smile.

The most interesting thing that stood out for me was that quote that Marcus gave us and that quote was  (keep doing what makes you awesome). The reason why I like this quote is because when you need to show you're awesome'st you need to stand out to people and believe in what you dream even though it is not impossible.

(Tools) Hard Material. Tamaki College

Steel Rule:
This ruler is used to draw a straight when you are doing some kind of art Material, that you are creating on a paper to a piece of wood.

Tri-Square:
A Tri-Square is exactly like a Steel rule but a different shape and has a handle unlike a ruler with no handle. A tri-square is used to mark on the side, edge of wood.

Marking Gauge:
A Marking gauge is used to mark a line on a piece of wood so that when you are ready to cut the wood when you are using a Backed Saw, so that you know where and which line to cut of on the wood.

Backed Saw:
A backed saw is used to cut of wood when you need the piece of the wood but you do not want the other piece. Backed Saw is important for the reason that it is the main thing that wood is cut by.

Wood Chisel:
A wood chisel is a tool with a characteristically shaped cutting edge, such that wood chisels have lent part of their name to a particular grind, Of blade on it’s end, for carving or cutting a hard material such as wood, stone, or metal by hand, struck with a mallet.

Bench Hook
A bench hook is a workbench accessory used in woodworking. The purpose of the bench hook is to provide a stop which a piece of wood being worked can be placed against to hold it steady whilst cutting, planing, or chiseling that piece of wood.

Mallet:

Wooden mallet, usually used in carpentry to knock wooden pieces together, or to drive dowels or chisels. A wooden mallet will not deform the striking end of a metal tool, as most metal hammers would, and it also reduces the force required to drive the cutting edge of a chisel
