All About Me In School.

Hi every one and my  name is Muamua Nikki Taua Leuila and I am a year 7 student at Pt-England School and also with a lovely teacher named Miss Clark . Miss Clark is a new teacher at Pt-England School I know very much about her because she is from Ta bet . I may think that Miss Clark is Asian ,  and I love the colour of her eyes and also the way she dresses . Miss Clark has many lovely students in her class just like me  . One time I have up steed her up and when the year begins he had started to believe me in what I have done wrong at that moment . Miss Clark is the best teacher I have ever meet and very like Miss King . Miss King has a lovely daughter named Mariaka . Marika does not like anyone else but her mum Miss King . Mariaka sometimes hangs out with my friend Htawara and also Efelona . Those are the only 2 favourite  teachers that I love and like about . Miss King use to teach me in Room 13 and right now I am in Miss Clark's class at that moment Class 3 .

Turning a year 7 is a great opportunity for me and my lovely new teacher . Being a year 7 is a great pleasure to go upper in my learning so that I get to understand every question that a teacher had asked me in class time , learning time . Learning at school is really cool and also exciting , When I am of school I get really angry because i really hate to stay home when I am sick. On the next day I am very happy and glad to be back to school . And I hope you will also enjoy your year at your school learning and asking question to other people.

Empathy.

Intro:  Empathy is an acceptable way of respecting others and new visitors. Empathy makes me do the right thing by asking  the person that is feeling down if they are ok and all right. If they have no one to play with, then you play with them to make them feel welcome in our school.

Para 1:  To show empathy you need  to feel  people’s feelings are like in their life and world. Empathy is when you are caring for one another and also sharing for one another , to help and care for what they have done wrong to you and your friends. To also ask them about how they feel and make them not to feel sad or afraid of anything they do or what they say.

Para 2:  It is important to show empathy so that the young ones can also  show empathy to the rest of their friends in class time. By the time it gets to your fuel break and when little ones play on the playground you watch out for them just in case they might get hurt by the big ones.

Para 3: People , student’s and also teachers show empathy by leading and helping your classmates in class , and also play time. Older children and adults are a leader of what they participate in whatever you have registered  for.

Last Lines.

Looking at the images and title of the text, what do you think the story is about? I think that someone might get sent to hospital,or someone having to read a poem their favourite poem.

Look at the layout of the text and the different fonts the author has used, why do you think he has done this? To try and tell the reader that it is going to be a sad story and to let the reader feel sad and to feel sorry about the person in the text of the book.

Why was the little boys father not supposed to do any strenuous work? Because something sad might happen like he might faint or have a heart attack because he has a heart problem.

Why was he embarrassed of his father at times? He is embarrassed because his father is old and he reads poems when the son’s friends come by and say hi.

Why would the little boy try avoid his father when he has friends around? Because his friends might laugh when his friends hear his father singing a poem about a war.

How do you think his father would have felt? Do you think his dad knew he was avoiding him? Why/why not? He would of felt happy singing a poem about a war , and I think that his father did not know about his son avoiding him.

What words kept coming into the boys head as he was in the waiting room at the hospital? For the angel of death spread his wings on the blast, and breathed in the face of the foe as he passed.

Analyse these lines, what do they mean to you? I think it is about the father because the angels come and support about the fathers heart problem and the death spreads his wings on the blast , and that means when his father dies the death’s wings spread on the past , And breathed in the face of the foe as he passed and that means that as his father breaths in the face of the angels we would have faith as he past the way.

Why was mum’s voice “choked up”? Mum’s voice was choked up because she was afraid that her husband might past the way and she might need to raise 1 child all by herself on her own.

Why do you think the little boy did not want to see his father? Refer to the image also.

Looking at the colours the illustrator has used in the text, what type of mood does it create? Why does it create this mood? The author done the colour of the text because he can let the reader know that it will be a sad story.

Read up tp page 25 and predict what you think the nurse wanted to talk to mum about? I think that the nurse wanted to tell mum that her partner was going to die and past the way and she also told her that he blood pressure was too high.

Why couldn’t the little boy sit with his father and talk to him? Because he was afraid that he might tell him something and he was also scared that he would die , but I think that it was a great Idea to talk to him so that would be the last word to say to him before he would die.

If you were in the little boys shoes how would you feel? (Think about being empathetic)

I will be sad and awful about my father dying in the hospital and I will sorry about the boys father.
